Berkeleyparks Awards 2026 – Celebrating Community Spirit

The Berkeleyparks Awards are back for a third consecutive year, recognising the people, groups and volunteers who help make our parks and communities such special places. The awards celebrate local talent, creativity and community spirit, giving residents the chance to nominate individuals and teams who go above and beyond.

This year’s competition features six award categories:

  • Community of the Year – for community groups that help keep the local spirit alive through fundraising, events and support.
  • Neighbour of the Year – recognising individuals who are always willing to lend a helping hand and make a difference to those around them.
  • Garden of the Year – showcasing beautiful and well-maintained gardens that residents are proud of.
  • Park Team of the Year – celebrating park teams that consistently support residents and contribute to their neighbourhood.
  • Crafter of the Year – a new category for talented crafters to share their creations and creativity.
  • Photographer of the Year – another new category inviting photographers of all abilities to submit their favourite shots.
