Book your staycation with Berkeleyparks

Do you want to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life to a scenic, breathtaking location in the Welsh hills?

More than ever, the staycation is being seen as one of the safest, most cost-effective and hassle-free holiday options for you and your family/friends. Staycations require a lot less logistical preparation, help you avoid long-distance travel anxiety and can be gentler on the bank account with the same relaxing holiday happiness outcome.

At Berkeleyparks, we’re all about creating memorable experiences, and we’d love to have you join us at the beautiful and well-situated Llewelyn Holiday Park in the heart of Wales.

Discover Llewelyn Holiday Park

Llewelyn Holiday Park is located in the county of Powys, Wales and offers access to some of the most breathtaking Welsh countryside and charming locations that the country has to offer. Surrounded by lush fields and rolling hills, the park puts exploration on your doorstep and sets you up for local hikes or rambles further afield. The park is only a short distance north of the Brecon Beacons National Park – home to some of Wales’ most impressive (and well-known) mountains: Pen y Fan, Sugar Loaf and Fan Brycheiniog.

The local area also offers some amazing experiences for all the family, including kayaking, horse riding, stargazing, cave exploration and breweries! Llewelyn Holiday Park is close to the town of Builth Wells. This friendly and welcome mid-Wales market town is home to wonderful gift shops, supermarkets, eateries and historic sights, so you can stock up and take time out with the family only a short distance from the park.

Builth Wells is also home to the famous Royal Welsh Show and convenient amenities! To the north is the spectacular and vast Elan Valley. The man-made reservoirs are carved into the landscape and offer pleasant walks and scenic spots as well as a rich industrial history. Many of the walks are suitable for all ages and the visitor centre has all the information you need… plus many of the walks have tearooms and pubs nearby to rest weary legs.

The park itself has a pleasant atmosphere and welcomes couples, families and pets to come and enjoy a lovely holiday in one of our caravans or BRAND-NEW GLAMPING PODS.
