This historic settlement is under four miles from Kingfisher Holiday Park and is a great day out for collectors, antique lovers, and fun-seekers looking for something with a little flare.

 

Sealife Adventure

It’s not just a zoo… it’s not just an aquarium… it’s a ZOOQUARIUM. The world’s FIRST zooquarium too. Located in Southend-on-Sea, Sealife Adventure is THE place to immerse yourself in the wonders of life on planet earth.  From the mysteries of the deepest oceans to the beauty of the jungles and deserts, you and the family can see it all – only 12 miles from the park. The Anchor Pub & Restaurant

Do you enjoy delicious food with lovely surroundings? The Anchor offers a stunning waterfront location overlooking the River Crouch and has plenty of outdoor space (a lovely garden and large decked terraces) to experience it all from. The indoor area, the Orangery, with floor-to-ceiling windows and an abundance of natural light is the perfect alternative. Whether you want a bottomless brunch, a Sunday roast or dinner for all the family, The Anchor is a lovely place to moor down and watch the world go by. Best of all? The pub is under a mile walk from the holiday park.

 

Barleylands Farm Park & Village

Come meet the animals at Barleylands Farm Park. For family-friendly fun, this pleasant attraction has a mixture of farm animals, small animals and poultry, birds of prey, exotic creatures, meerkats and more! Visitors will get the chance to meet them and even feed a selection. The Village at Barleylands has a unique collection of artisan craft studios and boutiques, eateries, luxury treatments, fun workshops and specialist services. Festival Leisure Park

Located in Basildon, Festival Leisure Park is the number one leisure destination in Essex. The leisure park has a Cineworld, Hollywood Bowl, 360 Play, restaurants with cuisine from across the globe and bars. For those rainy evenings or to wind down away from the park, Festival Leisure is only 11 miles from Kingfisher and is close to other attractions in Basildon.

 

RHS Garden Hyde Hall

Explore the beautiful garden at Hyde Hall and surround yourself with an eclectic mix of traditional and modern styles of landscaping and flora. Highlights include a beautiful Birch Grove, an Australia and New Zealand Garden and a Global Growth Vegetable Garden with a central octagonal glasshouse.
