Newport is 6 miles away with excellent shopping facilities, coast and Inter City Rail Stations. Buses run from the front of the Park to Newport on a book in advance basis. The capital of Wales, Cardiff (with its International Airport) is approximately 10 miles away and there are retail parks within a 10 mile radius offering out of town shopping facilities for the majority of supermarkets, DIY stores, electrical retailers, etc.
There are supermarkets and library facilities nearby. A mobile hairdresser calls at the park. Nearby leisure activities include swimming, sailing, golf and rugby; if you are a keen fisherman you are going to be “spoilt for choice” with sea fishing from the foreshore together with fly and coarse fishing nearby.
On the outskirts of Newport is a fully comprehensive Health Centre offering full GP and specialist clinical facilities. Existing residents, and management, are always happy to pass on local knowledge to our newcomers. Pets are considered at Lighthouse Park (one dog or one cat).
