Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis and associated regulations across England and Wales, Berkeleyparks have made several changes to support the health and wellbeing of our staff, homeowners and potential residents.
At this time, park offices will remain closed to the general public, but our park staff will remain on-site to continue with regular duties in line with government regulations. Most office staff and head office team will continue to work from home.
As the property sector is allowed to remain open under current guidelines, viewings can still take place. However, all viewings are subject to individual parks and existing/developing government guidelines. Prospective residents will be asked a series of questions before a viewing is agreed. If you are attending an arranged viewing, face coverings MUST be worn and all interactions will be contactless.
We would like to assure homeowners that we are continuing to maintain and invest in our parks at this time, but we ask for your understanding and patience and that you bear with us while we go through this together.
We hope that you stay safe and well.
The Berkeleyparks team
This is a Residential park for persons (50+) and is ideally situated on a level site just 3 miles from the M4 on the foreshore of the Severn estuary. The foreshore forms part of the Wales Coastal Path offering pleasant walking for many miles with a seascape backdrop. Residents’ gardens and park grounds have received awards in ‘Newport in Bloom’. Newport is 6 miles away with excellent shopping facilities, coast and Inter City Rail Stations. Buses run from the front of the Park to Newport on a book in advance basis. The capital of Wales, Cardiff (with its International Airport) is approximately 10 miles away and there are retail parks within a 10 mile radius offering out of town shopping facilities for the majority of supermarkets, DIY stores, electrical retailers, etc.
There are supermarkets and library facilities nearby. A mobile hairdresser calls at the park. Nearby leisure activities include swimming, sailing, golf and rugby; if you are a keen fisherman you are going to be “spoilt for choice” with sea fishing from the foreshore together with fly and coarse fishing nearby.
Adjacent to the park is The Lighthouse Inn offering meals and snacks together with quiz nights, bingo and occasional live entertainment. On the outskirts of Newport is a fully comprehensive Health Centre offering full GP and specialist clinical facilities. Existing residents, and management, are always happy to pass on local knowledge to our newcomers. Pets are considered at Lighthouse Park (one dog or one cat).
All new homes are fully furnished and have tiled roofs, LP gas central heating and double glazing. The brick skirt, paths and steps are all included in the price quoted.
If you would like to visit this Park, please telephone our resident Manager who will be pleased to show you around and advise on up to date plot availability.
