The National Flower Show is an extravaganza of all things gardening, home and lifestyle and will be bursting into bloom at Hylands Estate from the 20th to the 22nd of May 2022.
As many entries on this list are also hosted at Hylands Estate, it’s worth noting that the venue and grounds are under 30 minutes (by car) from Kingfisher Holiday Park.
Tickets cost £15 a day (£13 for the over 60s), and you’ll be able to return back to your lodge with an abundance of purchases from the hundreds of exhibitors.
Foodies Festival

MotorFest
If you want a larger than life and fun for all the family event then look no further than MotorFest. From the 18th to the 19th of June (Father’s Day), this action-packed festival will be offering everything from monster truck shows to vehicle displays featuring the world’s most expensive cars and the timeless classics
The event takes place just behind Hylands park and can be reached in your own set of wheels (maybe not as impressive as the show’s American muscle cars) in less than 30 minutes from Kingfisher Park.
Essex Sausage and Cider Music Festival
You can fill your evenings however you wish at your holiday lodge, but The Sausage and Cider Festival on Friday the 5th of August 2022 is a fantastic way to fill your stomach and unwind.
