On the 5th of November, England will enter its second nationwide lockdown. In line with the new national restrictions and the developing changes across England and Wales, Berkeleyparks is making several changes to support the health and wellbeing of our staff, homeowners and potential residents.
From Thursday the 5th of November, park offices will be closed to the general public. Our park staff will still be on-site to continue with regular duties in line with government regulations but office staff will be working from home.
As the property sector are allowed to continue to work under the new restrictions, viewings can still take place at the current time. However, these are subject to individual parks and existing/developing government guidelines. Prospective residents will be asked a series of questions before a viewing is agreed. If you are attending an arranged viewing, face coverings MUST be worn and all interactions will be contactless.
At this time, most of our head office team are following government guidelines and working from home to help reduce the spread. We would like to assure homeowners that we are continuing to maintain and invest in our parks at this time but we ask for your understanding and patience and that you bear with us while we go through this together.
We hope that you stay safe and well.
The Berkeleyparks team
Fell View Park is a well established Residential park for persons (50+), located within the village of Gosforth in the Lake District National Park. With its mature trees and gardens it enjoys magnificent views of the Lakeland fells, including Scafell Pike, England’s highest mountain. Wastwater, one of our most beautiful lakes, is nearby in Wasdale. The surrounding countryside, famous for its abundant wildlife, is popular with walkers and naturalists. The port of Whitehaven, with its attractive Georgian buildings, is 12 miles to the north-west and provides extensive shopping facilities.
The beautiful Lakeland village of Gosforth has excellent amenities – home bakery, garage, various shops (newsagent, groceries), mobile hairdresser, restaurants, churches, schools, village hall, public library, pottery and several public houses. There are many events organised by local clubs and societies, providing outdoor pursuits as well as cultural, dramatic and religious activities. Gosforth prides itself in the appearance of its buildings and gardens and is a regular winner of the Best Kept Village competition. Pets are considered (one dog or one cat).
All new homes sited are fully furnished and have tiled roofs, mains gas central heating and double glazing. The brick skirt, paths and steps are included in the price quoted.
If you would like to visit this Park please telephone our resident Managers who will be pleased to show you around and advise on up to date plot availability.
